Job Overview

Chassis Systems Requirements Specialist

As a Chassis Systems Requirements Specialist, you will engage in an Agile framework to formulate system-level specifications and validation techniques at both the system and vehicle tiers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and document specifications for chassis control systems and functionalities, with a primary focus on braking systems.
  • Execute systems engineering tasks on chassis control features/functions, emphasizing Failure Mode Avoidance.
  • Conduct Functional Safety assessments and implement necessary actions.
  • Utilize MATLAB, Simulink, and/or MagicDraw Models to assess system-level specifications.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience at the system level in drafting or managing specifications.
  • Proficient in developing and executing Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs).

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in braking systems.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles for failure mode avoidance.
  • Familiarity with EARS and INCOSE standards for specifications.
  • Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies and tools.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Understanding of ISO-26262 standards.
  • Experience in Matlab/Simulink for building and assessing system models.
  • Proficient in MagicDraw for applying Systems Engineering principles.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in control systems or specification development.

Preferred Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in control systems and state machine development.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
