In the 21st century, far too many people are trapped in the darkness of sex trafficking and homelessness. We are on the frontlines every day rescuing these individuals while preventing children and vulnerable individuals from falling victim.

Opportunity:

Founded in Atlanta, GA in 2003, Frontline Response began with a heart for the frontlines. Since incorporating in 2006, Frontline Response has assisted over 1,700 victims out of prostitution and sex trafficking and transitioned over 1,200 men, women, and children out of homelessness. In 2018, the organization added youth prevention to its mission and has provided programming to more than 600 children facing adversity in overlooked communities throughout Metro Atlanta.

Frontline Response has developed a prototype for outreach, rescue, emergency safe housing and behavioral health services that is being sought after nationally. We are committed to expanding our reach to other communities across the United States and are developing a national infrastructure and Board of Directors to support this expansion. However, it is critical that as the organization grows it maintains a strong and healthy presence in the location where it all began.

Job Summary:

The Georgia Executive Director provides leadership for programs, operations, and development of the Georgia Frontline Response affiliate, with an emphasis on community engagement, networking, program evaluation and delivery, and talent management and acquisition.

The Executive Director will be motivated by his/her Christian faith, mission-driven, collaborative, and an innovative leader serving as the brand ambassador and champion of Frontline Response throughout its designated service area. This person will be responsible for connecting with a constituency of partners, recipients of services, individuals, staff members, associations, agencies, chambers of commerce, education partners, local government officials, business and faith leaders, and other stakeholders.

The Executive Director will leverage the power of relationships and networks, working with public and private organizations across sectors to ensure that Frontline is the leading crisis response organization in the community. They will possess a high level of broad business skills, a knowledge of managing trauma care and people management to lead the organization, acquire talent, and generate resources and financial support for the organization. The Executive Director will be a driver of change, open to technology and new ways to generate revenue. As the chief spokesperson for the local market, they will ensure that the Georgia Frontline affiliate, its mission, purpose, values, people, programs, and services are represented in a positive, collaborative manner.

Responsibilities:

  • ● Build relationships internally and externally with other Frontline affiliates; federal, state and local government representatives; and other nonprofit and corporate organizations

    ● Cultivate a strong culture for employees and volunteers that fosters a commitment to Frontline’s mission, purpose, and values
  • ● Support the Georgia development team’s "fundraising for impact" efforts in coordination with national development staff to include revenue diversification opportunities and increasing and sustaining direct relationships with donors and partners in a way that connects partners’ values and priorities with Frontline’s Pathway to Freedom
  • ● Oversee execution of strategic plan and update for Georgia as needed and appropriate, consistent with Frontline Response’s overarching vision and strategic goals
  • ● Lead the development, implementation, and execution of the annual operational plan alongside the Georgia Director of Operations, including creation and management of the budget
  • ● Maintain the highest level of transparency and accountability in all areas pertaining to client, staff, and partner trust and confidence, such as impact reporting, finances, handling of confidential information, etc.
  • ● Monitor and evaluate data collection and outcome reporting; adapt, cease, or add new interventions to support Frontline outcomes on the Pathway to Freedom
  • ● Assist as needed with relationship cultivation, data reporting, and financial oversight of grants and contracts
  • ● Leverage and coordinate resources and talent acquisition to accomplish strategic priorities
  • ● Serve as the principal resource to the Georgia Board of Directors and its key committees

  • ● Financial Oversight - Maintain accountability for the operational and fiscal integrity of the local organization which includes ROI analysis of programs and initiatives
  • ● Fiscal Management - Manage & monitor organizational spending, budget compliance, and mitigate risk and fiscal integrity of the organization within the policies set by the national organization
  • ● Network Oriented - Ability to identify key community and organizational issues / opportunities and to think creatively and strategically for solutions in collaboration with community partners, leaders, and agencies
  • ● Results Driven - Build and lead a high-performing team and ensure all team members are trained, aligned, and collaborating to achieve year-over-year improved organizational impact results in partnership with the Georgia Board of Directors and National Leadership
  • ● Fundraising – A proven track record and broad understanding of program specific fund development avenues including both individual and corporate giving opportunities
  • ● Relationship Oriented - Display a high degree of proven personal integrity and character with a high-energy level in driving self and others toward goals and achieving results and in coordination of tasks
  • ● Brand Steward - Skilled at motivating others to participate in giving time and financial support to charitable causes

  • Education & Work Experience:

    ● Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • ● Preferred Experience:
    • ○ 3 to 5 years of progressive responsibilities in a management capacity
    • ○ Nonprofit experience in fundraising, project management, social media engagement, supervising managers, conducting performance evaluations, documenting coaching and counseling action plans, fiscal oversight, exposure to payroll and human resources, negotiating vendor contracts, strategic planning, and participating in high-profile community events
    • ○ Understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a harassment-free workplace
    • ○ Must have demonstrably strong written and oral communication skills and be an effective listener and presenter
    • ○ Strong work history of supervisory experience and leadership skills with volunteers and community partners
    • ○ Well-organized, strong on follow-through, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
    • ● Must also be able to attend work-related, in-person meetings and functions as needed

    • ● In our hybrid work environments, there is a basic expectation that our staff will ensure that their work-from-home setups will have reliable access to phone and Internet to ensure connectivity to their teams.


    • Compensation & Benefits
      The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. Final offers for this position will be based upon several factors including the scope of the role, market compensation analysis, position requirements, candidate experience level and capabilities, specific candidate geographic location, internal pay equity considerations and will be made within the parameters of Frontline’s compensation framework and philosophy.
