General Description

· Prepare, compute, manage, analyze, and research all accounting data. They perform several activities around finance/accounting every day, following the local financial strategy and standards. Their role covers a wide range of aspects (i.e. local banking operations, analyzing cost, pricing, suppliers, sales results, trends). They are good team players and will support the financial back-up for the local manufacturing plant’s growth and well-being.

Responsibilities

· Record daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank and accounts reconciliations.

· Process of payables; 3-way match and process payments. Coordinate and communicate with purchasing department and vendors to analyze and resolve discrepancies.

· Prioritize accounts with critical material requirements (production supply chain)

· Collect and post accounts receivables.

· Support on the calculation of standard production costs, analyze variances, support with hourly rates calculation and review of production routings.

· Support and audit of cycle counts and annual inventories.

· Support with monthly adjustment of indirect material consumption.

· Participate in regular audits.

· Assist month-end and year-end closing accruals postings.

· Develop periodic reports for management.

· Audit financial transactions and document control procedures

· Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.

· Other duties as needed or required.

Requirements

· More than 5 years working in manufacturing environment.

· Experience working with ERP applications, SAP preferred.

· Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas).

· Solid knowledge of bookkeeping in a very dynamic manufacturing environment.

· Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

· Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.

· Attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to present information to Senior Level Leadership Teams.

· Ability to prioritize work.

· BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Engineering preferred.
