Overview: Coastal Empire Water is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated In-home Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will respond to leads provided by the company, visiting customers' homes to conduct water tests and design customized water treatment solutions. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, customer service, and sales skills to effectively communicate the benefits of our water filtration systems and close sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive to customers' homes within a designated area.
  • Build rapport with customers and conduct thorough water supply tests.
  • Present marketing materials and explain the benefits of our water filtration systems.
  • Design customized water treatment solutions based on household needs.
  • Close sales and, if necessary, revisit homes for financing paperwork.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • No minimum education requirement.
  • Prior sales experience required, with a strong preference for candidates with in-home sales experience.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be located in the greater Charleston or Savannah area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport quickly with customers.

Training and Support:

  • Initial training provided to educate on the benefits of the filtration system and effective sales techniques.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, including becoming a senior sales representative and transitioning to commercial accounts.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • This is a 1099 commission-based role.
  • Remuneration provided during the training period and sales ramp-up.
  • Target Commission Range: $50,000 to $200,000.

Working Conditions:

  • Appointments are conducted Monday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm.
  • The consultant should be available for the majority of these time slots each week.
  • Sales territories are within a 1-hour drive from the consultant’s home.
  • Sales materials and equipment for demonstrating the water filtration system will be provided.
