Intela Staffing is looking to fill a Maintenance Mechanic role for a hardwood flooring company in the city of Orange, CA.

Monday through Friday 1:00pm-10:00pm.

2:00am-10:00am (Training Only)

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to fabricate tools, tooling, Jigs, and fixtures, the profession in sheet metal fabrication, and capable of welding (MIG, TIG & Gas) and mechanical assembly.
  • Prepares purchase orders for replacement parts.
  • Documents preventative maintenance, repair work and spare parts to facilitate SOP requirements.
  • Assists in rigging requirements on new equipment and relocation projects.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs equipment electrical issues
  • Welds machine parts as required to facilitate repairs on equipment.
  • Assists where necessary in other maintenance functions throughout the facility.
  • Maintains equipment in maintenance shop.
  • Practices safe health and safety practices when performing job responsibilities.
  • Works in compliance with the company’s Health & Safety Policies/SOP’s including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities Procedure.
  • Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP sensitive areas of the organization.
  • Other duties not included here may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient mechanic with five or more years' experience in industrial/production line maintenance with an emphasis in automation.
  • Must pass Background.
  • Must be flexible with the demands of the production line/factory. The reason for the existence of the maintenance department is to minimize factory downtime.
  • Must be able to handle paperwork BOL'S / Purchasing Orders
  • Must be able to know how to use a computer and email for parts, troubleshooting with company techs.
  • Must be comfortable with heights if its ever needed time to time.
  • Comfortable to operate a Scissor Lift
  • Knowledge and comfortable to research parts and companies for projects that might come up for the company.
