DailyLook is seeking a top performing, self-motivated Merchandise Sample Coordinator with strong administrative and interpersonal skills to play a critical role in our world-class merchandising department. This position will support the Buying Team and is a unique opportunity to build public company experience in the fashion sector while driving growth and scale in an independently operated, creative, tech-centric startup environment.

The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail oriented, and comfortable prioritizing multiple deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to join a growing global team and work across a wide array of areas within the business. This is an in-person position required to work in our office in Downtown LA.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Track samples and function as a liaison between our Buying, Warehouse and Marketing teams
  • Pull samples and preparing for Buying/Merchandising meeting style outs.
  • Provide admin support that includes writing copy, attributing, and processing new styles to our database.
  • Keep track of sample Purchase Order statuses and reconcile receipts vs. what's on order
  • Maintain the Sample Tracker file and update daily
  • Communicate daily/weekly summaries for our Buying and Marketing teams.
  • Oversee the Sample Room and location statuses for all samples, sample pulls, returns, and quarterly clean outs
  • Provide other merchandising/buying department support as needed
  • Gain experience in business analysis, professional development, and communication skills that are fundamental to building a successful career in fashion

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:·

  • · College student or recent grad
  • · Fashion Buying and Merchandising experience preferred
  • · 6-12 months of experience in a retail environment; including prior internships in merchandising, product development, sample management, sales, etc.
  • · Proficient in creating and editing documents in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint and use of the Google Suite
  • · Detail-oriented, flexible, team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • · Strong written and oral communication skills
  • · Interest in women’s fashion

· Must live in Los Angeles, CA and be able to commute to DTLA
