We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to fill the role of Workforce Development Program Coordinator. As the coordinator of our comprehensive professional development program, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our workforce to enhance their skills, advance their careers, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive workforce development program that aligns with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs, skill gaps, and professional development opportunities for employees at all levels.
  • Create and manage a calendar of workshops, seminars, training sessions, and other learning initiatives.
  • Source and evaluate external training resources, including trainers, materials, and online courses, to supplement in-house offerings.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, ensuring engaging and effective delivery methods.
  • Monitor the progress and impact of training programs, collecting feedback and data to measure their effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the program's relevance and quality.
  • Develop and manage a budget for training initiatives, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with HR to integrate professional development into employee performance management and career progression processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting the benefits of ongoing education and skill enhancement.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to training activities, participant attendance, and program outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, educational institutions, and professional associations to enhance program offerings.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the program's impact, effectiveness, and future plans.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with underserved populations
  • Proven experience in program development, coordination, and implementation, particularly in workforce development or professional training.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage and inspire diverse groups of individuals.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems and other training-related technology.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data and feedback to make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in job development is a plus.
