Position Overview

As a key member of the store leadership team, the Retail Operations Supervisor will collaborate with the Store Manager to meet operational objectives and uphold the Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies ethos. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience and a proactive mindset to strategize and achieve targets with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.

The Retail Operations Supervisor should be enthusiastic about imparting their expertise to customers regarding nutrition, health, and overall well-being for their pets.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Guide and mentor the team to accomplish company goals through established directives and initiatives.
  • Assist the Store Manager in the recruitment and onboarding of store personnel and provide training to retail staff as necessary.
  • Support the Store Manager in managing payroll expenses and overseeing other controllable costs.
  • Ensure that newly received merchandise is appropriately stocked and that product rotation adheres to company standards.
  • Engage professionally and effectively through both verbal and written communication with customers, Centinela Feed staff, and suppliers.
  • Assist the Store Manager with various tasks and responsibilities within a retail setting, and take on the role of Store Manager in their absence.
  • Offer expert guidance and knowledge to customers across all store departments.
  • Maintain visual and operational standards throughout the store.
  • Demonstrate an interest in animal welfare and participate in community initiatives.
  • Inspire staff and foster a positive workplace atmosphere.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
