Xylem is currently seeking a skilled Wastewater Treatment Technician to join our team. This role involves conducting liquid sampling, installing, and managing water treatment systems to ensure effective wastewater treatment. Ideal candidates will have experience in light plumbing or electrical work, controls, or water treatment processes.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization
  • Takes care of company property
  • Proactively trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions
  • Anticipates and corrects safety issues  both company and customer owned equipment
  • Direct interfacing with customers
  • May be responsible for work in multiple systems, locations or customers

Position Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Industry specific licenses preferred
  • Ability to obtain TWIC card
  • Ability to coach and train entry-level technicians
  • 2-5 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
  • Experience with Microsoft office including smart devices
  • Must have customer service experience
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability
