Summary

We are seeking a talented individual with a creative mind and attention to detail to join our marketing team. The Creative Project Manager will work hand-in-hand with the Creative Director, Design Team, Writers and Account Managers to intake, track and deliver creative projects for digital ads, print materials, TV creatives and radio creatives.

This is a great opportunity for creative professionals such as graphic designers and copywriters, who want to move out of the creative space into the project management world.

Responsibilities

  • Intake, manage and track projects and tasks for the Creative Team

  • Coordinate and execute administrative and organizational work, including working collaboratively with team members, departments, and affiliated companies or partners

  • Ensure project folders and files are created, managed, and follow standard naming conventions

  • Identify tools and best practices, developing and executing strategies and opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of office and departmental functions, including developing tools to improve processes and streamline operations

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution and completion of projects
    Maintain and manage logistics and calendar for the Creative Team

  • Work collaboratively with other departments, team members, partners, and external vendors

  • Communicate stakeholders on behalf of the group lead and team lead, including managing general follow-up to ensure deadlines, commitments, and project goals are met

  • Create necessary tasks in our project management software based on feedback from leadership and information gathered from meetings

  • Follow up to ensure the team is submitting tasks for review on or before the due date and check that all requests have been completed

  • Translate the planning for a project into a proper task list in our project management platform and work on preparing and assigning tasks with limited oversight

  • Function as liaison between all areas of the organization and the Creative Team
     

Qualifications

  • MUST have 2+ years working as a creative professional (writer, designer, producer, etc.) or 2+ years working as a project manager within the creative industries (Creative PM, Production Coordinator, etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

  • Proven ability to think strategically, making credible recommendations to clients that drive measurable results; identifies and pursues opportunities to grow business

  • Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems in a client-centric environment

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written

  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
