JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Website Development Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of website development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, web design, project management, and client relations. As a Website Development Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of website development projects from inception to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management: Manage website development projects from initial concept through final delivery.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, goals, and objectives.
- Planning: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, content creators, and marketing specialists.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Status Reporting: Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and functionality of deliverables through rigorous testing and review processes.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Team Environment: Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2-4 years experience as a website project manager, preferably at an agency
- Strong understanding of web development technologies, including WordPress and Shopify
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Asana)
- Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Adobe XD)
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools is a plus.
