Events Sales Specialist

Salary: Basen$42,000 plus commission of 2%

Benefits:

  • 1-week vacation

Essential Functions:

  • Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
  • Make phone calls.
  • Set face to face appointments.
  • Proactively seek new leads through referrals, networking, and prospecting businesses
  • Inviting prospects to sales events
  • Attending networking events in the community to generate new business prospects.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all current clients and prospects.
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospects and current clients over the phone.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must have Social Networking connections to be able to bring more clientele.
  • Event planning experience
  • Must be highly self-motivated and have a desire to excel in sales.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Individuals must be coachable and possess a positive attitude.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
  • High logistics and organizational skills
  • Be comfortable making cold calls on the phone.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule (holidays, evenings)
  • Individuals must be comfortable making face-to-face sales presentations.
  • Willingness/ability to work weekends.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and other marketing opportunities.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Background & Experience:

  • College Degree – bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or Events Coordinator Certification.
  • Ability to work within the USA.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Valid US Passport and Driver's License
