Position Overview:

The Events Management Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all group and private events while assisting in the promotion and sales of our Private Dining Room.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive relationships with clients and ensure prompt responses to inquiries regarding group reservations.
  • Detail all elements of upcoming group bookings.
  • Ensure that all deposits and final payments are accurately processed and collected.
  • Confirm agreements with clients and all relevant departments in writing through a Banquet Event Order (BEO).
  • Manage and uphold the terms of the Private Dining Room and group dining sales contracts.
  • Monitor reservations and oversee all group bookings through our reservation systems.
  • Maintain and update the inventory for the Private Dining Room and group bookings, ensuring consistent information across all platforms.
  • Draft the Private Dining Room Run of Show according to guest specifications following the proposal process.
  • Collaborate closely with all restaurant staff, including the kitchen team, for effective menu coordination.
  • Work in partnership with the Director of Sales to maximize revenue opportunities and growth potential.
  • Develop programs and procedures to enhance group reservation processes.
  • Lead weekly BEO meetings to ensure all reservation details are effectively communicated.

  • Conduct post-event evaluations and maintain relationships with vendors and sponsors.
  • Ensure seamless communication between the restaurant and clients before, during, and after their events.
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to exert physical effort in transporting items weighing between 5 to 20 pounds.
  • Capability to perform various physical movements throughout the work environment.
  • Reach up to 12 inches.
  • Remain stationary for 6-8 hours during shifts.
  • Communicate effectively with management and colleagues.
  • Mobility is essential, along with a sense of smell, taste, touch, and sound. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are required.
  • Tolerance for varying noise levels and lighting conditions.
