Location: San Jose, CA

Hours: Approximately Part-Time

Compensation: $40.00 to 60.00 per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team as a Contract Autism Support Specialist. If you have a passion for working with individuals on the autism spectrum and possess prior experience in this field, we would love to hear from you. This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate of $40.00 to 60.00 per hour. DOE and education.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct support to individuals with autism, implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a supervising BCBA.

- Utilize your knowledge and understanding of autism to assist clients in acquiring and strengthening essential skills.

- Implement evidence-based strategies and interventions to address challenging behaviors and promote positive behavioral changes.

- Collect and record data accurately to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans.

- Collaborate closely with the supervising BCBA, families, and other team members to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to client care.

- Foster a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages the individual's growth and development.

Requirements:

- Valid RBT certification.

- Prior experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.

- Knowledge of and ability to implement behavior management techniques and strategies.

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, showing reliability, organization, and attention to detail.
