About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about helping individuals with autism and other special needs. As a Behavior Therapist at Behavior Frontiers, you will play a vital role in providing 1:1 ABA therapy in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach individuals with autism to communicate, interact, and function independently.
  • Collect and analyze data to demonstrate client progress and inform treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), clients' families, and other technicians to report client progress and receive feedback.

Requirements
  • Energetic attitude and desire to help individuals with developmental disabilities succeed.
  • Some college credits required or currently enrolled students.
  • Experience or exposure to children or individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to provide negative TB test results and pass FBI & DOJ fingerprinting, health screenings, and provide/obtain immunizations.
  • Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 30lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run (with or without reasonable accommodations).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT), Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT), Mental Health Technician, or Senior Behavior Therapist (2 years' experience in ABA).
  • BCAT/RBT certification highly preferred (hires expected to take exam within 3 weeks of passing training, cost covered by BF).
Optional Qualifications
  • Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT), Mental Health Technician, or Senior Behavior Therapist (2 years' experience in ABA) a plus.
  • Spanish-speaking a plus.
