Seeking a direct hire Senior Procurement Planner to join our client, a global leader and manufacture of products & solutions custom designed to meet the needs of OEMs in the automotive, powersports, and other industries.  The Senior Planner is responsible for working closely with our suppliers, management, sales, and manufacturing teams.  The ability to prioritize, problem solve and follow direction with minimal supervision, while meeting customer deadlines are key components.  This role works onsite in St Louis, MO.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Maintains and updates Procurement Schedule frequently
•    Ability to analyze Forecast information and integrate into production schedule
•    Analyze production capacity and work closely with management to find ways to expand or grow
•    Communicate with Sales and Suppliers to facilitate communication to production group
•    Ability to navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy
•    Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a challenging environment
•    Work closely with internal and external departments to meet our customers’ needs
•    Monitor on time delivery of foreign purchase orders
•    Strong flexibility required as other duties may be assigned and work schedules may be changed to accommodate business needs

Requirements
•    Bachelors’ degree is required for this role, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
•    5+ Years experience in manufacturing procurement
•    Planning and Scheduling Experience
•    Purchasing experience
•    Previous manufacturing experience in scheduling
•    Experience servicing customers
•    Ability to be flexible and innovative
•    Ability to work within a team environment and on an individual basis
•    Ability to work under pressure and multitask with frequent interruptions
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Extremely reliable
