Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with medical scheduling
- Manage patient schedules
- Verify patient insurance information and run benefits and eligibility
- Complete home health prior authorizations through patient insurance payers
- Maintain patient records and update medical information in electronic systems on WellSky
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Assist with medical records management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, faxing, copying, and filing

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a receptionist or administrative assistant in a home health setting highly preferred
-Previous experience obtaining prior authorizations
-Knowledge of ICD 10 codes
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as WellSky
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines

Job Type: PART-TIME with option to go FULL-TIME after 90 days or sooner once orientation complete.
