BizzyCar is a dynamic and fast-growing technology company that is looking to hire an HR Manager to assist our growing team. As we continue to expand across the US, we are seeking an experienced HR manager to join our team. This role will be pivotal in driving our recruitment efforts and managing our overall HR functions to support our growth.
The HR manager will be responsible for dedicating ⅓ of their time to recruiting and hiring new employees, ⅓ of their time to performance management of the team, and ⅓ of their time to generalist HR matters including compliance, HRIS systems, annual training, and other HR matters. The ideal candidate will have spend 4-6 years in recruiting and hiring employees in technology or software companies, and 3-5 years in generalist HR matters including performance management.
This is a role that requires a growth mindset where the right candidate is able to drive change and make an IMPACT.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Hiring:
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent (familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems, and HRIS systems - Rippling - will be given additional consideration)
- Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on job descriptions and candidate selection.
- Conduct salary negotiations and prepare employment agreements.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future positions.
Performance Management:
- Oversee and manage the performance appraisal system to drive high performance.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues.
- Ensure alignment of performance management practices with company goals and objectives.
- Analyze performance data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Generalist HR Duties:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage HRIS system to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports.
- Develop and conduct annual training programs for employees.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a high-growth technology company.
- Proven experience in recruiting, interviewing, and negotiating employment agreements.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices, including performance management, compliance, and HRIS systems.
- SHRM certification is required (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
