Job Title: Senior HR Generalist

Accounting Career Consultants is seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our team as a Senior HR Generalist. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and implement human resources strategies that support the growth and development of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Senior HR Generalist will be responsible for managing and overseeing key human resources functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This includes serving as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and conflict resolution support.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Administer and manage employee benefit programs, compensation reviews, and performance management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including developing and maintaining HR policies.
  • Facilitate employee training and development programs to promote continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
  • Manage employee data and records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all HR documentation.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee turnover trends to inform retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources, with a strong focus on employee relations, talent management, and compliance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and other HR-related tools.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
