Our client is a non-profit organization. They seek a temp Administrative Assistant to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare documents and presentations, including agendas, presentations, and minutes
  • Manage correspondence, including mailings, invitations, and individual correspondence
  • Monitor project deadlines for the Director and provide appropriate reminders as needed
  • Coordinate appointments by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and travel
  • Ensure the Director is equipped with all necessary materials and documents for meetings
  • Prepare and circulate memos, monthly reports, calendars, and other internal documents
  • Assist with coordinating the organization's events and other development programs
  • Provide administrative support to other senior staff members and managers as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • Able to navigate protocols and manage high-level relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
  • Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • A self-motivated team player
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite
