Program Manager – Contract Manufacturing

Job Description:

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join one of our Contract Manufacturing clients in Milpitas. This role involves managing one or more product development programs for our customers, ensuring successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Coordination: Lead customer focus team meetings, assigning actions, and ensuring customer requirements are met within the manufacturing process.
  • Customer Management: Act as the primary interface for existing customers, overseeing all phases of program management to ensure customer satisfaction, and managing cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track relevant department metrics and KPIs, taking proactive measures to address any issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and lead initiatives to reduce costs and enhance efficiency within areas of responsibility.
  • Project Management: Serve as the main liaison between multiple manufacturing sites and customers, ensuring projects meet schedule and cost targets.
  • Systems Expertise: Act as the site SAP super user, providing guidance on regulatory requirements and ensuring integration into business processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Support the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO-based registrations and controls aligned with the facility’s business plan.
  • Contract Management: Review and support negotiations on contracts and agreements to establish strategic customer partnerships.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare activity reports, manage customer expectations, and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
  • Account Management: Oversee account profitability, manage Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory, Accounts Receivable (A/R), backlog, and accurately publish revenue projections.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a contract manufacturing or high-technology company, with 10 years preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical, business, or financial discipline.
  • Proven program management experience, with a strong track record of managing multiple projects.
  • Self-directed, motivated, with excellent relationship and time management skills.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering instructions, schematics, and technical procedures.
  • High integrity in handling confidential information.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including potential international travel (up to 25%).

Salary: Starting at $90K.- $120K
