Summary of Position:
Application Support Specialist I will provide first-level support for critical business applications including Sage MAS ERP. Write Excel reports using Crystal and MS SSRS. Make programming changes to applications as directed by management.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with software integrations, data imports, and data exports
- Troubleshoot application errors reported by end-users
- Monitor systems for proper operation
- Design and create Crystal Reports
- Create Microsoft Reports with SSRS Experience

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine, and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2 years of IT application experience required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to write T-SQL is highly desired
- Web-based programming skills such as HMTL, XML, JavaScript, .Net is a plus
- Self-motivated and customer service oriented
- Ability to take ownership of and follow through on client issues until a resolution is achieved
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and analytical skills
- A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively to resolve client issues without detailed supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
