Employment Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Employment Support Specialist to join our team at Northwest Center. As an Employment Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting high school students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to attain or maintain employment.
You will be responsible for helping to place individuals in jobs that match their skills and providing support at each step along their career paths. This community-based role is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others and grow within the Social Services or Human Services field.
As an Employment Support Specialist, you will be meeting with clients in their homes and places of work, as well as performing outreach and advocacy throughout your community. You will be empowered to build relationships with local companies to create job opportunities and independently manage your schedule to ensure that each student receives appropriate service time.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Background in sales, social service, or education
- Passion, self-motivation, and team-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
