Workforce Consultants is a premier, boutique Human Resources Firm.  We focus in creating mid-term engagements with clients, ranging from single projects, long term projects, up through full-service HR outsourcing and managed services. We are seeking an HR Consultant to join our team You will perform all levels of activities in human resources and will build client engagement to expand services. 

Responsibilities:

  • Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees
  • On-board and train new employees
  • Implement company culture, values and policies
  • Provide management with requested reports and documents
  • Coordinate events focused on employee recognition
  • Accurately maintain employee files

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to travel 50% in all Southern California markets - SD, OC, LA, Inland
  • HQ is Oceanside California. This position will work remote from home-based office in OC, LB or LA area
  • 10 Years+ experience in Human Resources
  • 5 Years+ experience in the role of a Senior HR Generalist (Sr. Mgr., Director or VP) 
  • Must have experience in multiple industries
  • Prior experience as a legitimate HR Consultant is a Big Plus
  • Knowledge of labor and employment laws
  • Able to clearly demonstrate expertise and knowledge in all areas of progressive HR - Core, Compliance, Talent and Organization Development 
  • Ability to build rapport with all employees and clients
  • Excellent administrative, business systems and organizational skills.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus
