Help Desk Specialist

Infomax Office Systems is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to join our team You will be in constant contact with our customers and their employees, as well as internal customers within Infomax. You will provide excellent customer service related to resolving network/solutions issues, setting up devices on networks prior to deployment, and remoting into customer computers during installations. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem-solver with excellent listing skills, putting the customer at ease and helping them resolve issues. Infomax sells and services primarily Canon, Kyocera, and Lexmark Products, for business and production printing use and after-market support and supplies for these products. We also have a growing Managed Network Services segment, which provides on-premise or cloud IT solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to resolve network & solutions issues
- Working with customers to get network connect information prior to installation
- Remote into customer computers during installations to connect equipment remotely
- Assist with customer implementations and upgrades to ensure equipment is working and connected to network
- Resolve meter read issues for customer devices not reporting to automated systems
Qualifications:
- High school diploma along with network certifications or minimum 2 years of experience working on a help desk, printer, or with networks including printer installations
- Above average computer skills, including website navigation, review of technical publications, data entry, and Microsoft Office
- Experience working with copiers and/or networks preferred
