Help Desk Tier 1 Job Summary:
- Provide first-line support to end-users via phone, email, or chat for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of software for iPhones and other mobile devices.
- Document and track all support requests and resolutions using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software, including VMware environments.
- Guide users through step-by-step solutions, including remote desktop assistance as needed.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or specialized teams as necessary.
Help Desk Tier 1 Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer support or help desk role, preferably in a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
- Experience with VMware troubleshooting and basic knowledge of virtualization concepts.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems for managing support requests.
- Experience with deploying and configuring software for iPhones and other mobile devices.
- Positive attitude and a customer-centric approach to problem resolution.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to document technical issues and resolutions clearly.
