TeamSoft IT Solution’s client is looking for a contract Help Desk Tier 1. This position is hybrid in downtown Des Moines, IA.

Help Desk Tier 1 Job Summary:

  • Provide first-line support to end-users via phone, email, or chat for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of software for iPhones and other mobile devices.
  • Document and track all support requests and resolutions using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software, including VMware environments.
  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions, including remote desktop assistance as needed.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or specialized teams as necessary.

Help Desk Tier 1 Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a customer support or help desk role, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
  • Experience with VMware troubleshooting and basic knowledge of virtualization concepts.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems for managing support requests.
  • Experience with deploying and configuring software for iPhones and other mobile devices.
  • Positive attitude and a customer-centric approach to problem resolution.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to document technical issues and resolutions clearly.
