Booming residential real estate developer seeks recent graduate with 2 years construction project management experience In this busy role you will manage and coordinate all aspects of residential construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Ideal candidate will be a recent graduate will have 2 years construction and facilities managment experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations on construction sites, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and company standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure all workers adhere to safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including project managers, architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Address and resolve any construction-related issues or conflicts that arise on site. Implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of project activities, including daily reports, change orders, and progress reports. Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are completed in a timely manner.
  • Supervise and motivate construction crews and subcontractors. Provide guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in residential construction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and safety standards. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and navigate construction sites.
