Position Summary:

As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our company's entire accounts receivable process. This includes managing the billing, collections, and cash applications to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all receivables. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with our clients and providing exceptional customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the billing process and ensure invoices are accurate, complete, and sent out in a timely manner

- Follow up on outstanding invoices and maintain a healthy accounts receivable aging report

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any client billing discrepancies

- Supervise the cash application process to ensure all payments are applied accurately and in a timely manner

- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable trends and implement strategies to improve collections and decrease outstanding balances

- Communicate and maintain positive relationships with clients regarding their account status and payments

- Oversee and reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger

- Prepare and present monthly reports to management on the status of accounts receivable

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable process

- Train and mentor accounts receivable staff to ensure high-quality work and optimal performance

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounts receivable management

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)

- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Prior experience in the financial services industry is a plus

Salary: $34,000 to $57,000 yearly
