Accounts Payable Specialist | Bilingual English/Mandarin

Job DescriptionJob Description

This role encompasses a range of responsibilities within the Accounting Department. The AP Specialist provides support to the Accounting Manager and handles various accounting tasks, including but not limited to:

Job Description:

  • Managing the full cycle of Accounts Payable, which involves verifying, classifying, preparing vouchers, and processing disbursements
  • Reviewing payment requests and obtaining payment approvals
  • Processing payments to vendors
  • Preparing bank deposits
  • Reconciling the accounts payable ledger to ensure accurate posting of payments
  • Handling reconciliation of expense reports and collecting receipts from cardholders
  • Maintaining vendor records, including W-9 forms and year-end 1099 preparation
  • Handling voids, reissues, and reconciling voided transactions
  • Managing both physical and electronic paperwork filing
  • Assisting with month-end closing tasks
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements and Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and a solid grasp of accounting principles
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of Accounting/AP/Booking experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule as needed to meet business demands
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin
