JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is a key member of the Finance organization and is responsible for processing financial transactions for the Company.

 JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • High-volume processing of vendor invoices
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and receipts and resolution of any discrepancies
  • Reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
  • Responding to external vendors and internal managers regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process
  • Contributing to departmental automation and process improvement projects
  • Reconciling vendor statements, researching, and correcting discrepancies

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree is a PLUS
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must have people and communication skills.

 Experience: 

  • 3 years of experience working in Accounts Payable
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP System (Sage)
