Position Description:

Quality Assurance Specialist: The primary responsibility of the QA specialist will be to build upon the company’s commitment to quality that has enabled Oasis to become a leader in our industry. We are seeking an experienced quality assurance specialist who can build upon the company’s reputation with an unwavering commitment to meticulous product design and production. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized, methodical professional who has the experience necessary to take our products and services to the next level in fidelity, reliability, maintainability, safety, and cybersecurity. The specialist will be charged with developing a complete QA program that not only safeguards product quality but also fosters a culture in which all employees are actively engaged. Specific tasks will include:

  • Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
  • Plan and execute product inspection and testing for quality and conformance to specifications
  • Maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and a tracking systems
  • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
  • Identify training needs and take action to ensure companywide compliance
  • Monitor risk-management procedures, maintain problem logs, and report issues to management

Qualifications:

  • B.A. in quality Assurance or a relevant field of study
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in quality assurance
  • Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management
  • Understanding of agile/scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
  • In-depth knowledge of the quality assurance requirements on DoD projects
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, communications, and presentation skills
