Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough Receiving Inspections and Dock Audits as required.
  • Perform in-process evaluations of products to verify adherence to customer specifications.
  • Maintain variable charts in accordance with blueprints and customer guidelines.
  • Oversee data from subcontractors to ensure compliance with established specifications.
  • Assist in sorting operations as necessary.
  • Follow all internal and OSHA mandated safety protocols.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including the quality manual and associate handbooks.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; or three to six months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with quality systems and standards.
  • Understanding of inspection methodologies and basic measurement tools, with the ability to conduct Gage R&R and capability studies.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Capable of comprehending simple instructions, brief correspondence, and memos.
  • Adept at writing basic correspondence and effectively communicating information to groups of customers or employees.
  • Competent in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to process both positive and negative numbers.
  • Skilled in applying common sense to execute detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
