Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client, a prominent manufacturer and supplier of uniform microparticles for biomedical and diagnostic applications. In this role, you will execute quality assurance protocols and comply with standard operating procedures to evaluate products, ensuring strict laboratory safety and effective quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to operational guidelines
  • Conducts quality assurance testing in accordance with QCP or operational protocols.
  • Maintains strong documentation practices.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in solid content analysis.
  • Exhibits expertise in binding capacity assessment.
  • Reviews and approves labels and technical data sheets.
  • Inspects bottles and products thoroughly.
  • Evaluates finished packaged products for quality.
  • Determines particle sizing and beads per milliliter.
  • Assists in the receipt of chemicals and reagents.
  • Supports the ISO9000 audit process.
  • Possesses knowledge of flow cytometer operation and data analysis.
  • Employs safe work practices in the laboratory environment.
  • Performs all other related duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year institution
  • Three to five years of relevant experience and/or training
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
