Lock Desk Coordinator II JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for processing lock change requests for company branches and correspondent institutions.
Lock Desk Coordinator II ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
• Works with Mortgage Operations through the life cycle of the lock to validate and accurately price loans in accordance with the company’s secondary marketing policies and procedures.
• Prepares purchase advice spreadsheets and uploads them to warehouse bank systems for loan settlements. May upload Purchase Advice to LOS or Servicing HUB.
• Reconciles trades and allocation sheets with the hedging system and trade book to ensure accurate interest rate risk management reports. Assists in reconciling purchase advice and pipeline reports.
• Registers service release best effort locks. Works with Investors to update service release parameters and reprices on Gateway First Bank loans.
• Assists Mortgage Operations and Correspondent areas with loan pricing scenarios, including Jumbo and non-QM products. Helps provide Loan Officer Training on Lock Desk functions.
• Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.
• Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
Lock Desk Coordinator II REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Thorough knowledge of Lock Desk policies, procedures, and practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
• Ability to multitask.

Equivalent Education/Experience
• High school Diploma Required.
• 2-4 years of Lock Desk experience
