Job DescriptionJob Description

Procurement

  1. Managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  2. Coordinating the procurement activities to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimize inventory costs.
  3. Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers/vendors continuously finding every time new and better options in terms of price and delivery times.
  4. Establishing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.
  5. Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
  6. Start the process of requesting purchase orders for supplies and services needed for warehouse operations.
  7. Ensuring that purchase orders are accurate and include all necessary specifications and requirements.
  8. Monitoring inventory levels to determine procurement needs and avoid overstock or stockouts.
  9. Coordinating with warehouse staff to understand current inventory status and future requirements.
  10. Evaluating supplier performance based on criteria such as delivery times, quality of goods, and cost-effectiveness.
  11. Addressing any issues with suppliers and implementing corrective actions to ensure consistent supply quality.
  12. Analyzing costs and seeking opportunities to reduce procurement expenses.

 

Compliance

  1. Ensuring that all warehouse activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  2. Conducting regular safety audits and training to maintain a safe working environment.
  3. Implementing quality control procedures to ensure that goods are stored and handled properly aligned with the compliance requirements and policies.
  4. Addressing any issues related to product quality and implementing corrective actions.
  5. Ensuring that all documentation complies with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  6. Preparing and submitting renewal applications, including any necessary supporting documentation.
  7. Leading inspections of the facilities.

 

Maintenance

  1. Addressing and resolving any issues or disruptions in warehouse operations, such as equipment malfunctions.
  2. Keep track of maintenance check-ups for all equipment within the warehouse, including but not limited to extinguishers, heaters, AC units, office equipment, pallets, forklifts, etc.
  3. Keep track of the TPM and compliance activities required of the warehouse and the controls/ records related..
