Summary
Global Packaging Container Company located in North Branch, New Jersey is seeking an Office Coordinator to join the team You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for supporting Human Resources tasks such as auditing timecards & preparing for payroll,
- Add new employees into the system, submitting background checks, scheduling physicals,
- Managing employee personnel files,
- Verify and correct entries in Hydra,
- Post all receivers into SAP, create daily Coll log for all Master Coll sizes
- Create daily work orders, post daily work orders and clear COGI.
- Responding to employee queries regarding benefits, policies, etc.
- Administrative tasks include submitting paperwork/documents to Corporate Office, running reports, managing office & kitchen supplies, meeting deadlines, answering phone, directing visitors/vendors,
- Assist and participate in daily production meetings,
- Use of Paycom,
- Other duties, as assigned.
Essential Physical Functions
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often sitting or standing for prolonged periods.
- Regular use of office and computer equipment
- Requires some degree of speed and concentration
- This role mainly a desk job that takes place in a clean, climate-controlled, and well-lit office environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Strong skills related to analyzing and manipulating data.
- Excellent communicator with strong inter-personal skills.
- Self-managing, highly organized and detail oriented.
- Comfortable with, and capable of, multi-tasking.
- Highly professional with strong ethical values.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Qualifications
- Microsoft Office required.
- Strong multi-tasking and organization skills a must.
- Ability to prioritize & manage time strongly required.
- Excellent follow-up skills is required.
- Attention to detail a must. HRIS/payroll system a plus.
- SAP experience a plus.
- Some knowledge of HR/Background & experience in Human Resources as an assistant or coordinator required
