This critical role involves overseeing various aspects and subsets of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within the PMO, ensuring that quality and continuous improvement initiatives are strategically aligned with the department’s goals. As the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will facilitate and manage processes, planning, and the execution of improvement efforts to reduce waste, improve quality, and provide greater value. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting regular release meetings with multiple agencies to ensure the on-time delivery of products and monitoring key performance indicators such as Waste Reduction, Efficiency Improvements, Quality Pass Rate, and process controls.

  • Oversee the PMO's Release Management and Continuous Improvement efforts to ensure timely and quality delivery of products.
  • Facilitate and manage quality improvement initiatives, driving operational excellence and aligning with corporate goals.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and resolve process bottlenecks, redundancies, and disconnects.
  • Conduct regular release meetings across multiple disciplines to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  • Deliver and monitor quantifiable KPIs, including Waste Reduction, Efficiency Improvements, Quality Pass Rates, and process controls.
  • Implement and uphold project management methodologies, ensuring compliance with district policies and procedures.
  • Lead the management, implementation, and reporting of large and complex initiatives by developing roadmaps, plans, and timelines.
  • Drive consistent communication and project tracking across a portfolio of work for stakeholder visibility and internal awareness.
  • Work directly with vendors and stakeholders to manage expectations and reduce confusion.
  • Lead project management transformation and change management initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Progressive experience in project and program management.
  •  Experience managing people performance, developing processes, and changing management practices for medium to large teams.
  • Strong experience and verifiable success in delivering high-value client-facing software projects spanning multiple teams and customers.
  • Progressive Operational Leadership or Consultative experience in a hospital or Health System setting.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving experience.
  • Thorough understanding of core business processes within healthcare organizations.

  • Core Business Processes in Healthcare Organizations: 7 years (Required)
  • Management Experience of Individual Contributors/Supervisors: 15 years (Preferred)
