ECS is seeking a PMO Administrator to work in our Fairfax, VA office.
Job Description:
This position is Hybrid, requiring two days of on-site work located in our Security Operations Center (SOC) in Fairfax, VA. Preferred candidates are local to Washington, DC area.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized PMO Administrator to join our team. The PMO Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Project Management Office by managing administrative tasks, coordinating project activities, and providing budget tracking support. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the PMO and successful service delivery.
- Manage PMO ticket queues and process workflows in ServiceNow
- Manage and maintain content within PMO tools (SharePoint, ServiceNow)
- Maintain and update internal PMO documentation and deliverables (newsletter, training schedules, reports, etc.)
- Identify opportunities for improving PMO processes
- Assist in the development and implementation of PMO processes and procedures
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and the PMO
- Manage the on boarding and off boarding processes for team members within the division
- Oversee the procurement process, including requisition, purchase order management, vendor`s invoices processing, and timely delivery of internal and external purchases
- Assist with updating financial forecasting tools for PMs
- Manage Cloud Accounts creation form and requests (AWS and Azure)
- Other PMO related tasks as assigned
80,000 - Meeting the required skills by having 5 years of experience with a lesser certification or education degree
100,000 - Meeting the required skills by having more than 5 years of experience and holding higher level certifications or degrees
Required Skills:
- Bachelor`s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field
- 2 years of relevant work experience as a PMO Administrator, Project Coordinator, Business Admin work or similar role
- Working Knowledge of project management software and ITSM tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, Asana, Monday)
- Strong organizational, analytic, interpersonal, and communication skills are required together with good attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving, task privatization, and follow-up skills required
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a PMO
- Deltek Costpoint knowledge is plus
- Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or other relevant PM certs.
