  • 2 years' relevant experience in a digital communications / digital marketing role
  • Fully proficient in Google analytics & other online analytic tools
  • Experience working with websites that have attracted varied audiences/demographics
  • Writing and editing skills, with an excellent command of English and an ability to convey complex ideas in a creative, clear, and lively style
  • Proficient in working with content management systems, Adobe Creative Suite, and other online presentation tools
  • Experience in creating multimedia and interactive content (such as slideshows, videos, data visualization, and timelines)
  • Proficiency in the use of graphic design software of Adobe Cloud applications (especially Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator) as well as keynote/PowerPoint is considered a strong plus
  • Proven working knowledge and application of social media communications principles and other web 2.0 technologies
  • Excellent grasp of social media, website metrics and best practices
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Proven working knowledge of graphic design principles, industry-standard applications, and web technologies; basic ability to encode, package, embed, and optimize digital multimedia assets for the web
  • Proven knowledge and proficiency with online performance measurement and impact analysis tools; ability to research, identify, and map intended audiences and stakeholders, and to leverage communication tools and methodologies (such as online monitoring, web analytics, or other tools) to assess their information needs
  • Proficient in developing strategies for search engine optimization and online marketing
  • High levels of initiative, judgment, and decisiveness in accomplishing tasks; proven ability to work independently; good time-management skills and an eye for detail; ability to work effectively under stress and to juggle multiple tasks within tight deadlines
  • Strong diplomatic, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; sensitivity to working in a multicultural environment
Responsibilities
  • Lead the digital engagement work, developing content across social media platforms and website, and undertake design work to strengthen the organizational brand and support implementation of the communications strategy
  • Be a member of the communications team
  • Play a strong content coordination and project management role in the day-to-day operation of external site, social media channels and newsletter
  • Defining an integrated digital plan that ensures content on the website and social media platforms is relevant, coordinated and consistent
  • Content writing, editing and management of our:
  • email automations, and
  • social media platforms
  • newsletters
  • Monitoring and reporting web and social media analytics
  • Planning and integrating the use of social media and other audience engagement tools as part of engagement strategy and advising or leading others in their use to ensure maximum effectiveness
