Job Location: Hybrid Remote, Richmond, VA

Reports to: Operations Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary

In this position, you will manage all aspects of a Field Operations project for both Service and Turnkey.
This role will have direct responsibility for project execution while leading a team or subcontractor to accomplish specific tasks to maintain our customer’s schedule.

You will also be responsible for internal and external resources to implement the project’s scope and budget while maintaining the agreed-upon schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules, and project parameters, and set procedures to accomplish stakeholder objectives.
  • Communicate with customers and their representatives, including our customers, subcontractors, and internal support staff.
  • Assist in estimate preparation and proposals and subcontractor contract review.
  • Responsible for maintaining project forecast and budget.
  • Create and revise project schedules that support customer timelines.
  • Prepare sub-contractor (RFQ) including Scope, Schedule, Safety Qualifications.
  • Oversee correctness of work of project-assigned staff, and subcontractors.
  • Work with the Field Operations Team and Area Leaders to request manpower to complete projects.
  • Meet with internal/external resources and customers to discuss the scope of the project, budgets, performance, and close-out.
  • Responsible for working with Field Operations Administration for project billing, collections support, and contract management.
  • Execute change orders by recommending solutions, creating quotes, and receiving orders.
  • Perform necessary communication to ensure complete customer satisfaction from inception to completion of projects.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Project Management required with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • 3+ years of Project Management in the HVAC or construction industry preferred.
  • Strong experience in manpower planning and the ability to lead and inspire project vision across multiple stakeholders.
  • A strong financial and business acumen and a history of running projects on time and on budget.
  • Experience working directly with building owners and contractors.
  • Must be able to travel locally within the branch state. Some overnight stay may be required

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for 90 percent of the time while operating their computer and performing office work. The individual needs to occasionally move about inside the office. They constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, fax machine, and computer printer. They must be able to exchange accurate information with customers and others in the office while interacting. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The individual must be capable of reviewing their work for errors and adjusting as necessary.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. The individual frequently works in a controlled climate. The individual may occasionally visit customer job sites.

Additional Information:

This position will be based out of our Richmond location, but flexible work-from-home options are available. The ideal candidate would live close to Richmond or Charlottesville
Total compensation for this role will include a base pay/incentive plan.
