Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Volunteer Recruiter to join our team. The Volunteer Recruiter will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and recruiting volunteers to support our various initiatives and events. This role is perfect for someone with a strong passion for community service and exceptional relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement effective strategies to attract and recruit volunteers for various roles and events.
• Outreach & Engagement: Conduct outreach activities including networking, social media campaigns, and community events to connect with potential volunteers.
• Onboarding & Training: Manage the onboarding process for new volunteers, including orientation and training to ensure they are well-prepared for their roles.
• Volunteer Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective volunteers. Keep them informed about opportunities and organizational updates.
• Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of volunteer applications, availability, and engagement. Track and report on recruitment metrics and volunteer contributions.
• Marketing: Create marketing materials and represent The Empowerment Network, Inc. at community events to enhance visibility and attract volunteers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with program managers to identify volunteer needs and develop recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in volunteer management, recruitment, or related fields is preferred but not required. A strong passion for nonprofit work is essential.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Experience with data management and reporting is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with volunteer management software and social media platforms.
• Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
