This position isn’t just about maintenance; it’s about ensuring a safe, efficient, and pleasant environment for all who walk through our doors. You’ll need to be ready for anything, including being on call for those inevitable emergencies and flexible enough to work odd hours to get the job done when the building whispers for help.

What You Will Do:

  • Take charge of the physical upkeep and environmental health of our locations.
  • Collaborate on various projects, providing support to the Facilities Manager.
  • Stay ahead with scheduled preventative maintenance and timely vendor services.
  • Create an optimal work environment by ensuring all tools and spaces are in top shape.
  • Address and resolve any safety issues promptly.
  • Handle installations, repairs, and modifications of equipment and utilities.
  • Be the point of contact for contractors, overseeing onsite operations.
  • Manage irregular work schedules for tasks best done outside normal hours.

What You Need:

  • An Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school, or a compelling mix of training and experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations as needed.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • At least two years of experience in facility operations, with skills in space planning highly regarded.
  • A talent for juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
