Overview: We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Associate to assist with the maintenance of our buildings and facilities. This role involves maintaining basic systems such as lighting, plumbing, and overall facility appearance. The position requires flexibility to work on-call for emergencies and potentially irregular schedules for special projects.

  • The right candidate will be available Tuesday through Saturday 9am to 6pm. 
  • Good communication skills are very important.  
  • Basic computer skills are essential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the physical integrity and appearance of the company's facilities.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assist with ongoing maintenance projects under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment as outlined in each contract.
  • Coordinate timely service according to vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with terms.
  • Assist with installations, repairs, and adjustments of equipment and utilities within the facility.
  • Address and resolve any safety issues identified within the facility.
  • Serve as a liaison with third-party contractors during onsite activities.
  • Work flexible hours to complete maintenance tasks during non-operational hours.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • At least two years of experience in facility operations or a similar role.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel to various branch locations as needed.
