Restaurant Depot, a national wholesale restaurant supplier is seeking an experienced fresh Seafood Manager for our San Antonio, TX location. Ideal candidate should have 3+ years experience in a retail supermarket/big box environment in fresh seafood sales, inventory control, product handling, and customer service. Seafood HACCP and food safety knowledge a plus. (We will certify you for seafood HACCP) Customer Service skills are an absolute must, as you will interact with business customers on a daily basis. - Collaborate with the Logistics team to manage inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and reduce carrying costs, taking into account the challenges of cold storage.
5. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, especially within the unique cold storage environment.
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing proper safety protocols and conducting regular safety training.
6. Process Improvement:
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer service within a cold storage context.
