Job DescriptionJob Description

Our company is seeking a skilled and dependable Division Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan and direct all Area Project Managers, related to construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems thereby providing overall administrative and tactical direction for construction projects. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, and implementing project work as required. Quality and customer satisfaction are paramount.

Primary Duties:

  • Understand and execute the Owner contract, work plans, addenda, and specifications
  • Help prepare job sites by cleaning, removing debris, and setting up equipment
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revision and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines
  • Complete monthly billing for each project
  • Handle, review, and approve all submittals
  • Complete the buy-out process and purchase materials for projects
  • Work in the field when needed and where possible
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate the competencies of achieving results, communication, collaboration, and building

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industry experience supervising construction projects
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Knowledge of principles and process for providing customer and personal services
  • Keep project team well informed of changes
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Knowledge of construction tools and equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds or more
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and climb for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions
