Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Deposition and Hearing Scheduler to join our bustling office. This full-time, in-office position is an essential part of our operations, ensuring the smooth coordination of depositions and hearings. You'll be working within a team of skilled schedulers, focusing your efforts on supporting one attorney at a time. This approach allows for a deep understanding of each case's nuances and fosters a closer working relationship with our legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, court reporters, and other relevant parties to confirm scheduling details.
  • Manage multiple schedules with precision, ensuring no overlaps or conflicts.
  • Maintain and update calendars for assigned attorney(s), providing timely reminders and updates.
  • Work collaboratively with other schedulers to ensure coverage and support across the team.
  • Adapt to the fast-paced and dynamic nature of our work environment, handling last-minute changes and adjustments with efficiency and a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in scheduling is required, with a preference for candidates who have legal scheduling experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication abilities and professionalism in dealing with internal and external parties.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of attorneys to facilitate case progression.
