HR Recruiting Specialist

A leading figure in the collectibles and toy industry is seeking an Human Resources Recruiting Specialist to join their dynamic team. If you're passionate about working in a company that revolves around collectibles and toys, this is an excellent opportunity.

The HR Recruiting Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting and a broad range of HR functions. It requires a pro-active approach to sourcing and hiring top talent.

Location: Simi Valley
Salary: $32.00 - 34.50/hr (DOE)
This is a temp-to-hire position
Schedule: Mon-Fri 40 hrs/week

Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting: identify and attract qualified candidates using various sources, including job sites, employment agencies, local community resources, social media, and networking platforms.
  • Job Advertising: create and manage attractive job ads
  • Candidate Screening: conduct phone interviews and initial screenings to assess candidate qualifications.
  • Interview Coordination: schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and management.
  • Applicant Tracking: track application through UKG Ready, ensuring all steps from job posting to new hire orientation
  • Reference Checks: conduct personal and professional reference checks to evaluate candidate suitability.
  • Offer Management: make job offers, negotiate compensation and facilitate onboarding processes.
  • Job Description Management: review and update job descriptions
  • General HR tasks like employee inquiries, developing HR polices

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of office recruitment, HR or combined experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Active listening and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
