Labor Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Controls Programming Engineer who will be under limited supervision, this position is responsible for creating, modifying, and troubleshooting programmable code in all our manufacturing process control systems.  This person will be interfacing with Emerson DeltaV, PLC, and other 3rd party software platforms.

Hours-: Monday- Friday 7:30a.m - 4:00 p.m. 

Salary: $70-100K/yr.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot existing code to keep equipment operational.
  • Optimize control systems to provide most efficient and cost-efficient solutions.
  • Specify control systems or additional control system equipment based on project requirements.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and two+ years of related experience preferred.  May substitute equivalent machine learning engineer experience in lieu of education.
  • Recent graduates with the above degrees may be considered. 
  • Must have a general understanding of machine learning concepts, principles, and theory with technical experience demonstrating the application of those concepts while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. (DeltaV, PLC- Allen-Bradley, Automation Direct, Schneider and MicroLogix is preferred)
