Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Manufacturing Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for streamlining manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and optimizing industrial engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products.
  • Investigate and solve problems related to tooling, equipment, and processes.
  • Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, designing layouts of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement changes to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
  • Assist the Process Line Manager in developing capital and expense budgets.
  • Evaluate new products and make recommendations on manufacturing feasibility.
  • Train department personnel in safety, setup, operations, and troubleshooting of existing and new equipment.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial technology, or a related field, with at least 3 years of applicable experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Background and experience in an ISO 9001 environment, experience with LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives, including 6S and TPM, and excellent computer skills (MS Office, design software, ERP/MRP software).
